One of the greatest advantages of this switch is PoE support according to IEEE 802.3at/bt standard on each port (4× PoE++ and 12× PoE+) for powering many devices. By default, the UniFi Switch automatically detects 802.3at/bt on the connected device, allowing it to automatically receive PoE. The device also features Etherlighting ports that indicate port location, speed/link, and native VLAN/network (for optimal brightness, use UniFi Etherlighting cables).

The UniFi Network application allows configuration and management of UniFi devices. Alternatively, the free UniFi Network Server software is available for installation on your own computer or server (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
