Xtend Solarmi GridFree 1000MD is a single-phase solar power plant (assembly) with a 1kW grid inverter and three photovoltaic panels. It is a basic component assembly and accessories for creating a solar power plant with a connection to a single phase. The solar power plant's capacity allows for covering electricity consumption without heating from spring to autumn, with the system switching to the grid only in exceptional cases when higher output is needed.
Notice: Installation may only be carried out by a qualified company. To recommend a company, contact us at fotovoltaika@100mega.cz.
The grid inverter with an integrated limiter prevents overflows into the public grid. The inverter converts the maximum energy produced by photovoltaic panels to 230V (AC) thanks to the integrated MPPT controller.
Grid inverter with limiter is a cost-effective solution for photovoltaic power plants that do not require batteries. Furthermore, it can limit its own output according to current consumption, thus completely preventing excess power from flowing into the public grid.
In addition to the standard terminals for connecting solar panels and an output for grid connection, the inverter also has a current sensor connector for the internal limiter and the possibility to connect an SDM230M modbus electricity meter, which can limit output in case of a longer distance between the home distribution board and the inverter.
The inverter operates within a specific input voltage range (details in the datasheet). The output from the inverter is AC voltage of 230V, which is connected between the main circuit breaker with an electricity meter and the circuit breakers of individual circuits. The inverter thus converts power from the panels into the household circuits. Your appliances will then consume energy primarily generated by your power plant. If your power plant's output is insufficient at a given moment, the connected public grid will cover the shortfall. By installing a current sensor to the limiter, you protect your system against unwanted overflows if your power plant is capable of producing more energy than your appliances require.
The inverter does not operate in island mode, meaning it requires a connection to the public distribution grid for its operation. It immediately shuts down in the event of a grid outage.
The inverters are certified for sale and use in the EU. They meet EMC, LVD, and RoHS certification criteria. The inverters comply with the EN50549-1 standard for grid connection or grant application.
A highly efficient and easy way to achieve independent electricity generation while maintaining a connection to the distribution grid. An ideal way to reduce electricity costs. Slow down your electricity meter too! (By reducing your consumption from the grid.)
